Joe Devine

Executive Director

Joe Devine is the CTO of Bridge Technical Talent, an IT staffing/consulting firm and has over 30 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and information technology. Joe’s passion is building computer science career pathways in RI, particularly for women and minorities. He serves on several college computer science academic advisory panels. Joe also serves on the Board of Directors for the Tech Collective, the Academy for Career Exploration, and the Providence After School Alliance (PASA).


Monica Kwarta

Business Development Director

Monica is the Director of Business Development at Tech Collective, where she spearheads strategic development efforts while also cultivating relationships with our partners and sponsors. She has managed a small business, spent time teaching in the classroom and has worked in higher education at Molloy College and St. John’s University. She has volunteered for many years with the Boy Scouts of America, Narragansett Council. Monica is the proud mother of three “adult-ish” sons, two of whom are Eagle Scouts.

Amanda Roman

Program Manager

Amanda Roman is the Program Manager at Tech Collective. She oversees social impact programs for the organization. Before joining the Tech Collective team, Amanda worked at an education non-profit dedicated to supporting Providence schools with supplementary programming and tutors. Amanda and her husband live in Providence with their two cats and are a part of the local art and music community.

Creusa Michelazzo

Creusa Michelazzo

Program Manager

Creusa is a Program Manager at Tech Collective, overseeing technical programs for the organization. Previous to joining Tech Collective, Creusa worked as an Impact Manager at City Year Providence, Regional Marketing Manager at Creative Artists Agency CAA in Los Angeles, as an account executive at NBC’s Telemundo in Providence, and a trainer and consultant at Ocean State Library OSL for the Broadband Technology Opportunity.  In her spare time, Creusa has launched and serves as the Director of  I Am That Girl - Rhode Island Chapter, where she leverages her entertainment background as a vehicle to empower youth.

Kris Turgeon

PTECH Industry Liaison

Kris’ role is to work with the education and business sectors to create an integrated approach to educating and training our youth for employment in the technology field.   She represents the high tech industry in the development of curriculum, mentoring programs, and workplace exposure for P-TECH students. She is also affiliated with a variety of youth initiatives in high tech & education. Kris’ career experience ranges from Fortune 500 software companies and start up firms, to the non-profit education sector. She is also on the BoD for Habitat for Humanity.

Maureen Giaquinto 

Office Manager & Bookkeeper

Maureen has been a bookkeeper and office manage throughout her 30 years in business.  Before joining Tech Collective she was Director of Operations for 11 years for local manufacturing company.  Her personal passion is to bring people together for community activities.  She is the Activities Director for her church group overseeing party planning, running a bowling league, and scheduling outdoor adventures.    But her greatest passion is for her beautiful granddaughter.


Destiny Manston

Engagement Intern

Destiny is an Engagement Intern with Tech Collective. She is in her first year at CCRI, with plans on attending URI next year. She has returned for her third time with Tech Collective after initially being an intern through the PrepareRI program in the summer of 2018, and throughout her senior year at Classical High School. She is excited to be back for an extended time, and interested in the change that comes from being a communications intern to an engagement intern. She is now able to work with everyone in the office on various projects ranging from video editing, to social media interactions. She is looking forward to seeing how the projects that she is involved with advance in levels of complexity, allowing her to improve her skills while being challenged along the way.
